GoodLeap is a home improvement lender that finances qualifying HVAC replacements, indoor air quality upgrades, pool heating and repair work. You apply online, approval is usually quick, and the funds go toward the project we scope together.

Fixed monthly payments, so you know exactly what leaves your account each month.
0% APR for 18 months is available on qualifying projects when the balance is paid in full within the promotional period.
A lease option is also offered, where GoodLeap owns the equipment and maintenance and repairs are included.
No prepayment penalty — pay the balance early if your situation changes.
Autopay is available with a rate discount, and payments are made online or by phone.

PACE PROGRAM

Fund efficiency upgrades on your property tax bill.

PACE — Property Assessed Clean Energy — was created by Florida law and authorized for Palm Beach County in 2017. Ygrene Energy Fund administers the program locally. Rather than a bank loan, the cost of an eligible upgrade is repaid as a voluntary assessment added to your annual property tax bill.

Approval is based mainly on your home's equity and your record of paying property taxes — there is no minimum credit score.
Covers up to 100% of an eligible project, including high-efficiency air conditioning and heat pump systems.
Repaid over typically 15 to 20 years as an annual line on your property tax bill.
Residential assessments are capped at 20% of the property's just market value.
The assessment stays with the property, though a mortgage lender may require it to be paid off before a sale or refinance.

PACE is not a loan, not a grant, and not a Palm Beach County program — the County only authorizes the provider. Nonpayment is handled the same way as unpaid property taxes. Work must be permitted and installed by a licensed contractor, and rates and fees are set by the provider.
